A standard unit needs a flat spot roughly 4×4 feet with about 8 feet of vertical clearance, plus truck access to within 25 feet of the placement spot. Restroom trailers need considerably more room and level ground.
We level the base with shims or blocking on delivery, and stake or strap the unit when the surface calls for it. On steep slopes, we’ll recommend a different placement spot rather than force a marginal setup.
For street-level placement, we deliver at the curb inside the permitted work zone. For units that need to sit on upper floors or a scaffolding platform, the general contractor arranges the crane or hoist lift, we drop the unit at ground level ready to be moved up.

More frequent servicing is the real answer, every 3–4 days instead of weekly on high-use units. Deodorizer packets and stronger tank treatments help, but nothing beats pumping and cleaning on a shorter cycle in summer heat.

A standard unit has a bench and a holding tank, no flush, no water. A deluxe flushing unit adds hands-free flushing, a running-water handwash, mirror, and better lighting. Same footprint, much better experience.
