Empire Porta rents porta potties across Albany for construction projects, state and city events, university functions, weddings, and home renovations. Call with the address and dates for pricing.
Workhorse unit for construction sites, backyard projects, outdoor gatherings, and small business functions. Each unit is well-ventilated and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer at delivery. Rentals include scheduled servicing so units stay usable for the length of the job. Best when you need dependable.
A wider, ground-level unit with extra room and a larger door, enough space for a wheelchair, walker, or anyone who needs to bring a helper inside. Popular for family events, community gatherings, and jobsites where crew members need step-free access. Rents on its own or alongside standard units.
The same accessible design, chosen specifically when a project has to meet ADA guidance, public events, permitted festivals, government jobsites, and multi-week construction projects where an accessible unit needs to be part of the count. If you're not sure how many you need or where they should sit, we'll help you plan it out.
An upgrade on the standard unit: hands-free flushing, an interior handwash with running water, mirror, and better lighting. A step up in comfort for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and film shoots, without the footprint or cost of a full restroom trailer while keeping guests comfortable throughout the event.
Flush-only units for situations where standard porta potties won't hold up: long construction rentals, busy job sites, and multi-day events with heavy traffic. Cleaner and fresher than a standard unit through the rental period, and a practical middle option between a standard porta potty and a deluxe or trailer setup for demanding, high-use rental situations.
Multi-stall restroom trailers built for upscale weddings, corporate events, private parties, and productions. Climate-controlled interiors, full-length mirrors, real fixtures, running water, and finished flooring, closer to an indoor restroom than a portable one. Available in different stall counts depending on guest numbers.
Albany projects often run on tight schedules, especially near busy roads, downtown venues, school campuses, and active construction areas. We coordinate delivery times carefully, place units where they are easy to access, and keep pickups organized so your schedule is not disrupted by restroom problems.
Each portable restroom is cleaned, disinfected, deodorized, and restocked before delivery. For longer Albany rentals, scheduled servicing helps keep the unit fresh and usable through changing weather, daily site activity, and high guest traffic.
Not every rental needs the same setup. We offer short-term rentals for events, weekly rentals for job sites, and longer rental plans for construction, seasonal work, and commercial projects. Our team helps match the unit type, quantity, and service schedule to your actual needs.
Albany has a mix of government buildings, residential neighborhoods, college areas, parks, commercial corridors, and construction zones. We understand how local access, parking, delivery timing, and site layout affect portable restroom placement, so your rental is easier to manage.
Albany has more government and institutional construction than any other city in upstate New York, Empire State Plaza maintenance projects, South End and Arbor Hill redevelopment, Albany Medical Center campus work, Warehouse District conversions, and state office building renovations. Units need to hold up under daily crew use on sites where state agencies, general contractors, and city inspectors all have opinions about placement.
Tulip Festival in Washington Park, Alive at Five concert series, Lark Fest, the Capital Holiday Lights, Empire State Plaza summer events, and UAlbany homecoming. Albany’s event calendar runs year-round and mixes large public festivals with private weddings and corporate gatherings. We match units to crowd size, standard for general attendance, flushable or trailers for weddings and VIP sections.
Pine Hills Victorians, Delaware Avenue colonials, Buckingham Pond area capes, and New Scotland Avenue two-stories, Albany’s older housing stock keeps renovation crews booked year-round. One unit in the driveway, billed weekly or monthly, picked up the day the crew wraps.
State office renovations, agency facility upgrades, Albany Med expansion, and UAlbany campus construction run on government timelines, slow to start, then 6–18 months of active work. These jobs need units placed at project kickoff, serviced reliably every week without follow-up calls, and scaled when new phases bring additional subcontractors on site.
One unit for a Pine Hills renovation or a full setup for Tulip Festival, Empire Porta delivers across Albany and Albany County. Call for pricing.
Residential and small commercial (1–5 workers)
One standard unit on the driveway or lot. Weekly service. No permit on private property. This covers most Albany renovation rentals.
Government, medical, and multi-crew sites (10+ workers)
Empire State Plaza, Albany Med, state office buildings, and Warehouse District redevelopment jobs need multiple units, ADA coverage, and handwashing stations. OSHA requires one unit per 20 workers, state and institutional sites in Albany often require one per 10 as part of the project safety plan, not just the federal minimum.
Downtown Albany sites along State Street and Pearl Street have metered street access and city-managed loading zones. We sort out truck routing and delivery windows on the quote call so the driver isn’t circling the block on delivery morning.
When I started Empire Porta, I saw an industry that too often treated portable sanitation as an afterthought, units delivered late, poorly maintained, and forgotten until something went wrong. I knew New York deserved better.
We built Empire Porta on a simple belief: no job site, wedding, or festival should ever compromise on cleanliness, reliability, or dignity. Every unit we deliver reflects that standard. Every call is answered by people who care. Every commitment is one we keep.
From Manhattan construction sites to Hudson Valley celebrations, we’re proud to serve the communities that make New York great. Your trust drives everything we do, and we’re just getting started.
Thank you for choosing Empire Porta.

Yes. Empire State Plaza summer events and Tulip Festival at Washington Park are two of our biggest Albany orders each year. Plaza events need OGS coordination through the event organizer; Washington Park events need a city parks permit. We deliver once placement is approved. For Tulip Festival, book at least 6 weeks ahead because unit supply tightens across the entire Capital Region that weekend.
It depends on where the unit sits. City sidewalks and streets require a permit through the City of Albany DPW. Near state-owned buildings or the state campus, OGS coordination goes through your GC or event contact. Private property anywhere in Albany needs no permit. We'll tell you which applies when you call with the address.
Yes. UAlbany homecoming, move-in weekend, commencement, and outdoor campus events are part of our regular Capital Region calendar. Campus placement goes through UAlbany facilities. We deliver once the site is confirmed and service through the event.
Albany averages 55+ inches of snow and regular subzero stretches. Standard units get anti-freeze in the tank from November through March and hold up fine. Flushable units need protected placement. Restroom trailers need a power hookup for heat. Outdoor winter weddings and holiday events in Albany need this confirmed with the venue before we quote the trailer.
Yes. State agency projects, Albany Med expansion phases, and institutional renovations run 6 to 18 months with variable crew sizes. We set up at project start, service weekly, add or remove units as subcontractor phases change, and bill monthly. One coordinator handles the account. No chasing different people for service calls.
